After graduating with a degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from the University of Leeds I took a service engineer role working on AC & DC emergency back-up systems, this took me all over the world and onto offshore platforms.
After enough time at sea I took a purely R&D role developing switched reluctance drive systems for the use in electric vehicles before joining Analox as a design engineer. It is great to be back on a manufacturing site and proof that UK manufacturing is alive and well.
I now look after the Electronics/Electrical team looking at new technologies and techniques that we can build into the next generation of products.
Favourite product: Ax60 - Mainly because I was heavily involved in the development of the product but also because there were a number of manufacturing and design issues to overcome before we could successfully release the product.
Did you know? I have a secret love for Chuck Norris.
