Two members of Analox staff have recently graduated from the University of Teesside in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
Staff training and development is key for Analox to remain as a leader in their military and commercial gas detection markets so Analox not only funded the course but they also supported the duo with paid day release to attend college, study days as well as internal assistance from the engineering and production teams.
John McNeil, Production Engineering Technician and Jack Price, Junior Project Manager both attended the University of Teesside and graduated at the ceremony held at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Tuesday the 6th of November 2018.
Jack said ‘I originally started at Analox as an apprentice. After 3 years of studying I have achieved a HND in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with distinction. At times it was challenging to manage work, my studies and maintaining healthy social relationships but it really helped having John there going through the same thing’.
John added ‘I have been studying various qualifications for the last 5 years. I was worried about the difficulty of certain modules but after speaking with my line manager, he offered further support and helped me get through’
Analox would like to say a huge congratulations to both John and Jack for their amazing results!
