Employees at Analox from different departments gave their time to host an Easter egg tombola at The Parkway Shopping Centre in Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough, in aid of Zoe's Place baby hospice.

Matt from AST Sales, Kerry from AMS Sales and Mel from the Marketing department spent the day the selling raffle tickets to win different types of chocolate egg, which were all donated free of charge by very kind people to the Middlesbrough-based charity.

Analox staff get one day a year to donate to a local charity, and have helped charities in the past including SARA Animal Rescue, RSPB Saltholme and Daisy Chain, a charity which supports families suffering from autism.

The ‘eggstravaganza’ was busy from start to finish, after all the eggs had been won. Young and old were eager to take part, with the chance to win one of a large selection of eggs, by picking a winning ticket from the tombola.

All that was needed to win was a raffle ticket ending in a zero. People were charged £1 donation for 5 tickets. In total the team raised £373.37.

Mel, Marketing Coordinator at Analox said, “The day was a huge success, people were really enjoying the thrill of winning an Easter egg. It wasn’t just the children who were getting excited, several adults were returning again and again to the tombola for more tickets!”

Matt, Regional Sales Channel Account Manager said, “Zoe’s Place is such a special charity, the work they do to help families with children with life threatening or life limiting illnesses is invaluable. It was good to be able to help raise some money for the cause by being a volunteer for the day.”

Kerry, Sales Administrator for AMS said, “ We were all blown away by the generosity shown by the people of Middlesbrough, they were loving the easter egg tombola, but also giving more donations on top, as many wanted to show their support for the charity. It’s great to be able to have the time to volunteer for a charity once a year and we really enjoyed the day.”

Zoë's Place is an independent registered Charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to 5 years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Sue Fox, Corporate Fundraiser from Zoë's Place said, “We really appreciate the help and support from Analox. It’s wonderful that employee’s get a day to put towards volunteering to help out local charities. We feel lucky to be one of the charities Analox supports and thank them for all their hard work and time they’ve committed so far.”
