Representatives from HR and Marketing went along to the UK’s largest HR event in November 2016 - the CIPD Annual Conference.
CIPD, the professional body for HR and people development, organised the event which took place at Manchester Central.
The theme of the 2016 event was “Shaping the future of work”, and the CIPD encouraged the HR community to define principles to guide good practice as the world of work evolves.
The focus for Analox this year was employee engagement and company benefits. Analox are currently trialling an employee engagement app, where staff are asked questions about their experiences at the company on a regular basis. This feedback can then be used to improve staff satisfaction.
Analox are also looking at improving the customer benefits they currently offer employees. New benefits offered this year included improved parking facilities and a breakfast club for staff.
Julie Cole, HR Manager for Analox Ltd said: “We always enjoy going to the CIPD conference as we get to see what is new in the world of HR and network with similar companies to see what we are doing is on the right track.
Analox have had a great year, winning awards including Investor in Customers and ‘Best SME’ at the Best Factory Awards. We hope to improve on this in 2017 using the feedback we received at the CIPD conference.”
