It feels like it's been a long time since we went out for lunch - the last time we went out was at the start of February!

For the March edition of the Analox Palate, we headed off to the Cross Keys in Guisborough - a lovely looking stone-built pub on Middlesbrough Road.

Most of the team opted for sandwiches and burgers (you could get a steak burger and chips for £5.99 - and it was really tasty!)

The staff at the Cross Keys went over and above when it came to service - one of our more fussy eaters wanted to see if they did tuna sandwiches, although they weren't on the menu, the staff offered to make some especially.

Another member of the team ended up not being able to go out for lunch at the last minute - the staff at the Cross Keys carefully packaged up their lunch so it stayed hot, leaving the sauce on the side so the food didn't go soggy. It's the little things like this that make us really happy when we go out for staff lunches.

We'll definitely be back.
