Where are the best places to eat in North Yorkshire? Find out in the Analox Palate!

Soup with a side of salad

Sandwiches - no butter

Caesar salad - leave the anchovies

The Analox team are a fussy bunch - either that or they’re being good after the Christmas holidays.

For the first Analox Palate of 2016 we visited The Jet Miners Inn at Great Broughton - in the same village as other Analox favourites The Wainstones and The Bay Horse.

Now, The Jet Miners Inn was a bit of an unknown quantity to the team, as nobody had been there before and we didn't know what to expect.

The pub didn't look impressive from the outside, however the dining area was bright and airy and the staff were speedy. When we rang in our order a few days before and we asked if they knew what the soup of the day would be, they offered to make whatever soup we wanted which was really kind of them (we opted for vegetable).

The team opted for a variety of dishes - from Caesar salad, to butternut and goats cheese risotto to soup and sandwiches. The baguettes in particular went down a treat - filled with melted cheese and served with crispy fries.

Everyone had a great time and enjoyed their food - it's great to have so many fantastic pubs a short drive away from where you work!
