Analox has been nominated in the North East Business Awards ‘Best Company of the Year’ category. This week the business was vetted by two members of the judging panel who’ll decide the overall winner. The category recognises outstanding performance by businesses across the region.
The criteria for the award assesses excellence in a product or service and the achievement of a strong or growing market share in a niche market which is reflected in growing profitability.
Other attributes the judges were looking for were examples of innovation, successful setting up of a major new operation and bringing it into production at a high level of efficiency, pioneering within new markets, and enterprises that have succeeded by getting the best out of a workforce.
We hope that with the achievements gained so far by Analox and our recent contract with BAE Systems, to develop a submarine atmosphere monitoring unit for future classes of Royal Navy submarines, we’re in with a good chance of being shortlisted, or better still, winning.
Update: Sadly we didn’t make the shortlist this time around, but we’d like to thank the North East Business Awards for considering us, and hey… there’s always next year!
